MICHAELA BUERGER
Born in a small village in Carinthia, southern Austria, she spent her childhood surrounded by traditional Austrian folk clothing that has been passed down through generations. After graduating from the Vienna University of Applied Arts, she moved to Paris, where her love for the hand-knitted knits of her hometown grew stronger, leading her to present her own knit collection. All of her designs are hand-drawn by Michaela. Meticulously created in collaboration with a collective of hand knitters whose mission is to achieve women's economic and social empowerment.
