Julia Heuer is a designer who has perfected the Japanese tie-dyeing technique called "Arashi-shibori" and has evolved it in her own way. As head of print design for the Swiss textile company Jakob Schlaepfer, she received orders from major brands such as Christian Dior and Comme des Garçons, and after working on the production of numerous unique prints, she became independent. She features prints with dynamic compositions and delicately pleated items that are individually handcrafted by artisans.
