MICHAELA BUERGER
Born in a small village in Carinthia, southern Austria, she spent her childhood surrounded by traditional Austrian folk clothes that have been passed down for generations. After graduating from the University of Applied Arts in Vienna, she moved to Paris, but her love for hand-knitted knits from her hometown grew stronger, leading to her knitwear collection. All of her designs are hand painted by Michaela. She has been meticulously created in collaboration with a collective of handknitters on a mission to achieve women's economic and social empowerment.
